About this Pattern

Nora Sweater from Knitlidt is a classic and elegant sweater that fits perfectly for both everyday and more festive occasions. This beautiful sweater is knitted from the top down, making it easy to adjust the length along the way, so you get the fit that suits you best. With its fine, smooth-knit surface and soft ribbed edges, the Nora Sweater has a sleek expression that is both feminine and modern.

The sweater's construction with raglan seams makes it easy to knit and gives a nice drape at the shoulders, highlighting the simple yet elegant silhouette. It is knitted with circular needles 4.5 mm for the body and rib edges with 3.5 mm needles for a snug and elastic edge. The stockinette stitch structure gives the sweater a beautiful, even surface, highlighting the yarn quality.

Meet

Knitlidt

My name is Camilla Grady, and I am a 24-year-old student teacher, knitting and coffee enthusiast, who develops knitting patterns in my spare time. As a half-American and Dane with Faroese heritage, I am something of a cultural cocktail, which is also reflected in my knitting. That is why I chose the name Knitlidt ("strik lidt" or "knit a bit"), as it is a blend of my two mother tongues: English and Danish. Many of my patterns are inspired by Faroese knitting culture, including “Katrin,” “Nora,” and “Siri.”
