About this Pattern

Novice Gloves by Knitlidt is a knitting pattern for beginner-friendly fingerless gloves. The glove is knitted in sock yarn and keeps your hands warm both indoors and outdoors. You can knit the glove longer or shorter than described in the pattern. The glove will become approximately 15% looser with use. The gloves can, among other things, be knitted in Jawoll from Lang Yarns, among many others.

Size 3 mm needles are used.

Knitlidt

My name is Camilla Grady, and I am a 24-year-old student teacher, knitting and coffee enthusiast, who develops knitting patterns in my spare time. As a half-American and Dane with Faroese heritage, I am something of a cultural cocktail, which is also reflected in my knitting. That is why I chose the name Knitlidt ("strik lidt" or "knit a bit"), as it is a blend of my two mother tongues: English and Danish. Many of my patterns are inspired by Faroese knitting culture, including “Katrin,” “Nora,” and “Siri.”
