Leafy Season Socks by Dorte Bak are a pair of socks with a beautiful leaf pattern which wanders down across the outside of the sock, a lovely detail that may become visible underneath a pair of pants.

Leafy Season Socks are worked from top to bottom on double-pointed needles, or on circular needles with Magic Loop method. A ribbing edge is first worked, which can be casted on with long-tail cast on or Italian cast on. The leaf pattern is worked asymmetrically on the outside of the sock, so there is a distinction between the right and left sock in the pattern.

The socks are knit on 2.5 mm needles with any type of sock yarn containing a meterage of 200-210 m per 50 grams,

Dorte Bak Knitting startede i 2018 og har siden udgivet opskrifter i et klassisk udtryk "med finurlige" detaljer. Jeg er vokset op blandt kreative kvinder; alle kvinder i min familie har syet, strikket og skabt med hænderne. Derfor var det helt naturligt, at jeg som seksårig fik mine første strikkepinde i hånden. Alligevel var det først senere i livet, at strik for alvor greb mig – og siden har jeg ikke kunnet slippe det igen.
