Bella Sweater (EN)

Bella Sweater is a classic and feminine sweater with a clean look and elegant fit. It is worked top-down with raglan increases and shaped with short rows at the back neck to create a refined neckline. The sweater is knitted with two strands — one strand of Reborn Tweed 300 from Blackhill Yarns (100 g = 300 m) and one strand of Brushed Alpaca Silk from Drops (25 g = 140 m) — giving it a light, soft and warm quality with a beautiful tweed effect.

The size range spans XS to 5XL with finished bust measurements from 105 cm to 166 cm. The recommended positive ease is approx. 15 cm, which creates a roomy and comfortable fit. The length measures 57–68 cm at the center back depending on size.

Gauge is 19 sts × 26 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette on 4 mm needles. The project uses 3.5 mm and 4 mm circular needles as well as 3.5 mm DPNs, and a gauge swatch is recommended to ensure accuracy.

The total yarn requirements vary by size:
you will need 350–550 g Reborn Tweed and 200–325 g Brushed Alpaca Silk.
This corresponds to a yardage of approx. 150 m/50 g for Reborn Tweed and 280 m/50 g for Brushed Alpaca Silk. The smooth stockinette fabric is complemented by neat ribbing at the body, sleeves and neckline. The sleeves are shaped with decreases and finished with a wide rib edge.
