The Blake Beanie is made using Udon yarn from Hobbii, a luxuriously thick yarn perfect for keeping warm on chilly days. Alternatively, you can use yarn substitutes like Molly, Milky Way, Umami, or Amigo Giga, all classified as super bulky weight #6 yarns. For added convenience, you can also double-strand a worsted weight yarn to achieve the desired thickness.


Crocheted with a 15 mm hook, and an 8 mm hook for ribbing and shaping, this beanie offers a snug, structured fit. The switch to the smaller hook for the first and last few stitches in each row ensures a secure and flattering shape around the head.
