About this Pattern

The Strap Dress no. 1 by Violi is the loveliest dress for the little ones. The dress features straps that tie at the shoulders and a crocheted top piece. The top is made of granny squares with a delicate floral pattern, and afterwards, the bottom part is sewn.

You can crochet the granny squares using a 3.5mm crochet hook with BC Garn linen or cotton yarn. The rest of the dress can be made with about 1 meter of linen or cotton fabric.

Violi

I founded Violi in 2023, where I design crocheted clothing for children. My crochet journey began in 2017, when I was pregnant with my first daughter, but I have loved being creative since childhood, when I, among other things, designed, knitted, and sewed clothes for teddy bears and Barbie. Crochet has become my creative sanctuary in a busy everyday life, and what I enjoy most is coming up with new designs, the crochet process, and seeing the result on my own children or on others’ children.
