Scope of Application
These Terms of Use apply to consumers residing in the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA).
Purchases are made with YARNBOOK ApS, a company registered in Denmark.

1. TERMS AND CONDITIONS – Physical Goods
Delivery
Yarn and yarn kits are shipped to EU countries directly from Lang Yarns’ warehouse in Switzerland. Delivery time is typically up to 5 business days from ordering. You will receive tracking information by email when the parcel has been shipped.
Shipping Prices
Shipping prices are stated at checkout and depend on the delivery country.
For YARNBOOK Exclusive members, shipping may be free as stated at checkout. Within the EU, no customs duties are charged to the customer.
Returns and Right of Withdrawal
This right of withdrawal applies in accordance with EU consumer law. You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the item. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must contact us at kontakt@yarnbook.com and return the item unused and in its original packaging.

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return concerns a justified complaint.
Complaints
In accordance with EU consumer protection rules, you have a 24-month right to complain. In case of defects or deficiencies, contact us as soon as possible with your order number and, if applicable, a photo. We cover return costs for justified complaints.

2. TERMS AND CONDITIONS – Digital Services (Membership)
Payment
Card details are sent encrypted (SSL) directly to our payment provider (Reepay/Nets). We do not store your card data.
Disclaimer and Warranty
To the extent permitted by applicable EU law, YARNBOOK is not liable for any direct or indirect loss resulting from the purchased membership being deactivated or otherwise suffering loss where such loss is due to the buyer’s actions or omissions, or circumstances beyond YARNBOOK’s control. This includes, but is not limited to, war, rebellion, unrest, fire, government intervention, seizure, currency restrictions, or labor disputes of any kind, including strikes, lockouts, or similar events.
Right of Withdrawal
By purchasing a digital service, you expressly consent to immediate access to the YARNBOOK platform and its digital content and acknowledge and accept that your 14-day right of withdrawal lapses once access has been granted, in accordance with EU consumer law.
Copyright
Membership with YARNBOOK grants you access to knitting and crochet patterns that may only be used for personal and private purposes. The patterns and their images on YARNBOOK, as well as YARNBOOK’s logo and proprietary images, are protected by copyright and may not be forwarded, shared, copied, or otherwise distributed to third parties.
The content may not be used for any form of publication, whether digital or printed. Commercial use or exploitation of YARNBOOK’s content is strictly prohibited. Any violation of these rules may result in penalties in accordance with applicable copyright law.
You are, however, very welcome to share the results of your finished projects on social media, such as Instagram or Facebook, using #yarnbook or #yarnbookmakers.
Reservation for Changes
YARNBOOK ApS reserves the right to change and update these terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes will apply from the time they are published on the website. It is therefore recommended that you regularly review the terms to stay informed of any updates.
3. MEMBERSHIP TERMS
Subscription and Payment
By signing up for a YARNBOOK membership, you enter into a recurring subscription agreement. The subscription fee is charged in advance for the selected billing period to the payment method provided at checkout. The recurring subscription renews automatically until cancelled.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via your user account. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid billing period, after which no further charges will be made.
This is a recurring subscription with automatic renewal.
Membership Pricing at YARNBOOK
Membership prices are stated in DKK and/or EUR and include VAT where applicable, in accordance with EU VAT rules. Current prices and any campaign pricing will be displayed at checkout.
Membership Access and Use
The membership grants personal access to YARNBOOK’s digital platform and pattern library for private, non-commercial use only. Access to the content is available as long as the membership remains active and requires an internet connection.
The membership is personal, intended for individuals aged 18 and over, and may not be shared, transferred, or used by companies, institutions, or other legal entities.
Newsletter
You will only receive newsletters from YARNBOOK if you have given your explicit consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in our emails.
Misuse
In the event of misuse, including systematic copying or unauthorized sharing of content, YARNBOOK reserves the right to terminate the membership with immediate effect.
4. COMMUNITY RULES
YARNBOOK is a creative community where members can share, comment, and inspire each other. To ensure a safe and welcoming environment, all members are expected to treat others with respect and follow these community rules.
Respectful Conduct
You must maintain a respectful tone when interacting with others on the platform. Misuse of community features, including comments or messages, is not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, hateful or abusive content, threats, harassment, repeated unwanted messages, or content intended to shame, intimidate, or harm others.
Compliance with the Law
The YARNBOOK platform may not be used to support or encourage illegal activities, including terrorism, organized crime, or hate groups.
Where required by law, YARNBOOK may disclose relevant information to public authorities in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. For more information on how we process personal data, please refer to our privacy policy.
Resale and Misuse of Content
You may not use the platform to sell or resell goods or content. Patterns and other content on YARNBOOK may not be shared, resold, or distributed to third parties, whether through screenshots, copying, photographing the screen, or similar methods.
Violation of these community rules may result in suspension or termination of your membership.
5. SUPPLEMENTARY TERMS AND INFORMATION
Data Protection and Cookies
YARNBOOK processes personal data in accordance with applicable EU data protection legislation (GDPR). Please refer to our privacy policy for information about how we collect, use, and store personal data.
Our website uses cookies to ensure proper functionality and to improve the user experience. You can manage your cookie preferences in our cookie policy.
Uncollected Packages and Delivery Errors
If a physical package is not collected or is returned to YARNBOOK due to incorrect delivery information provided by the customer, YARNBOOK reserves the right to charge for reshipping.
Product Images and Color Variations
We strive to display product images as accurately as possible. Minor variations in color or appearance may occur due to screen settings or manufacturing differences.
Campaign and Discount Terms
Discount codes cannot be combined with other offers and are valid only for the specified campaign period and purchases made via yarnbook.dk, unless otherwise stated. Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash.
Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to create a membership or make purchases on YARNBOOK.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable EU law, YARNBOOK does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the digital service and disclaims liability for losses resulting from downtime, maintenance, technical issues, or force majeure.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
All purchases made with YARNBOOK ApS are governed by Danish law. This choice of law does not affect any mandatory consumer rights under EU law. Any disputes shall be brought before the Danish courts.
