I learned to knit 10 years ago—but quickly realized that I wasn’t very good at understanding a pattern. I felt they were full of implicit terms, and I often had the sense that I had to work out parts of the pattern on my own. That’s why I started knitting my own pieces, which have since evolved into NotPerfectKnit. Here, I can unfold my creativity and create meaningful, practical, and beautiful patterns for everyday use.
