Gabriella Tee (EN)

The Gabriella Tee by Adorable Knits is a light and elegant knitted tee designed for warm days and effortless summer wear. With its delicate lace details and clean stockinette body, Gabriella Tee combines simplicity with refined structure.

The tee is knitted top down and in the round, starting with the yoke. Construction begins by working the left and right sides of the yoke separately, shaped with raglan increases and neckline shaping. Once the front and back are joined, the rest of the yoke is worked in the round. This thoughtful construction creates a comfortable neckline and a smooth fit across the shoulders.

After completing the yoke, the work is divided into sleeves and body. Stitches are cast on under the arms, and the body is worked in the round to the desired length. A subtle lace detail can be added under the arms, or you can choose to work the entire body in stockinette stitch for a cleaner look. The body is finished with an elegant i-cord bind-off, which gives a soft and polished edge.

The sleeves are worked in the round and continue the lace pattern seen on the yoke. They are also finished with an i-cord bind-off. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline to add a matching i-cord edge, completing the design with a refined finish.

The Gabriella Tee has a positive ease of approximately 10–14 cm and is designed to drape lightly on the body. The pattern includes nine sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL, corresponding to a finished bust measurement of 87–170 cm.

The tee is knitted on 3 mm circular needles. The recommended gauge is 26 stitches x 36 rounds = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch after blocking.
